The Marshall Wells Lofts is one of my favorite residential buildings. I thought I would give you a peak of some of my favorite snapshots of one of the oldest warehouse conversions in the Pearl District.
This photo is one of the original scales. I am not sure if it was relocated to this position near the front door, but it was quite the challenge trying to fit myself between it and the windows, which were six inches away.
There were probably many scales in use for a warehouse of this size. The other also sits in the lobby. A much easier shot as it sits in the middle of the lobby near the mailboxes. This next photo is my all time favorite. It’s the old package shoot! During the warehouse conversion, the developer decided to keep it, build a courtyard around it, and turn it into a fountain! The Lobby, in my opinion, is the prettiest in all of the old warehouse conversions. Modern clean lines but still retains most of the old world charm of the century old building.
